Leadership Council
The Leadership Council is an exciting and collective group of diverse people from various business sectors within Tucson, who are interested in sharing their time and talents in building and supporting the mission of Youth On Their Own. The council’s focus is to help develop community awareness of YOTO, as well as to assist with 2-3 annual fund raising events generated from within the council and organization. No time requirements or frequent meeting schedules are imposed. Committees meet as necessary and most communication is primarily internet driven.
Committees include:

Fund raising/Events Planning
The fund raising and events planning committee assist with a variety of needs wherever necessary. Many hands make light the work and this committee helps wherever it can.

YOUth Helping Youth
This committee consists of currently enrolled students from a variety of Tucson high schools who are interested in sponsoring donations or fund raising for YOTO within their school.

Planned Giving/Gifting
This committee works to introduce YOTO’s mission to community CPA’s, attorneys and financial planners and to present planned gifting opportunities to YOTO’s current supporters.

YOTO Alumni
Former YOTO students who have graduated as a result of the YOTO program. These individuals have joined together to support all aspects of the Leadership Council goals in promoting YOTO awareness in our community and assisting in fund raising needs.

Marketing/Promotions
This committee will market and promote the mission of YOTO through various advertising vehicles in the community.
