Wine Tasting

October 10, 2010

On Sunday, October 10, 2010, Youth On Their Own hosted “The Wine Tasting” at McMahon’s Prime Steakhouse, a posh, classy, well-know landmark restaurant that features one of the largest wine cellars in Tucson, AZ. Over 250 guests attended and sampled many wonderful wines from the U.S and around the world while they enjoyed delicious appetizers. Live entertainment and an extensive raffle completed the day.

Guests were able to purchase wines directly from the distributors and vineyards.

Today’s economic woes are big challenges for non-profits! Creative fund raising is one of many ways we work to fund our mission. Our goal is to keep it affordable for everyone and this was accomplished by the many generous in-kind donations of goods and services that were contributed to make this event so successful!

Thank you to all who helped make this day happen-especially Bob and Danita McMahon and the staff at McMahon’s Prime Steakhouse.
