On August 23, 2018, the US Treasury released proposed regulations that may limit the tax benefit you receive from your donations to charitable organizations like Youth On Their Own.
In order for donations to qualify under the current tax credit and charitable contribution regulations, taxpayers must donate by Monday, August 27, 2018. While the new proposed regulations do not affect your ability to receive an Arizona state tax credit, these developments add some uncertainty around which federal tax benefits will be associated with your contribution.
To assure that you receive the current the tax benefits associated with your donation, you may want to consider making your annual tax credit donation by this Monday, August 27th. We encourage you to contact your tax adviser to find out more about how these changes might affect you.
