Youth On Their Own is excited to welcome two new members to our Board of Directors.
These outstanding leaders will serve for a minimum of three years to provide governance, financial oversight, and strategic vision for YOTO. Please help us welcome the newest members of YOTO’s governing body:
Ragan Edwards has been a Tucson resident for 14 years, is a wife and mother of three. She is a commercial insurance advisor for The Mahoney Group and co-founder of Kids of Steele. “It is a great honor to be joining the board of directors at YOTO, as I feel it is so important to help our youth have the support, opportunity, and tools they need to create their own path and success in life, whatever that looks like. I am excited to help YOTO further this cause within our community and beyond!”
Allen Kinnison is a native Arizonan who has lived in Tucson since 2001. He is the Vice President of Southern Arizona Leadership Council (SALC). “YOTO has a wonderful history of generously serving our youth with dignity and encouragement. I am so impressed with the organization – and am honored to be joining the Board.”
YOTO’s board members are the fiduciaries who steer the organization towards a sustainable future. They adopt sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, and they ensure that YOTO has adequate resources to advance its mission. Equally important, board members also serve as representatives and advocates for YOTO in the community.
