This past April, Youth on Their Own is excited to say that we had so many wonderful groups of volunteers come on in and help us out. YOTO really would not be able to do what we do without the amazing help from our many dedicated volunteers.

Thank you Vantage West, for helping pack backs with hygiene items for our Baggin’ Baggies project! They also helped make handwritten stipend notes to go to our YOTO students.

Thank you to Thrivent Financial for helping us with our Piece of Cake! Birthday Club project. Thrivent Financial is a Christian non-profit membership organization which offers advice, insurance, investments, and banking solutions to its members. They hand-addressed student birthday cards and also added in special birthday messages. This was their first time volunteering with us and we hope to see them again soon!

Thank you to Merrill Edge – Bank of America for also coming to volunteer with YOTO for the first time! They helped us with our Baggin’ Baggies project.

And finally, thank you to the St. Mark Oro Valley Church for helping us with our Code RED and Baggin’ Baggies projects. We would love to thank Racheal Molinar and the ladies from the “Dress a Girl” and “Sew What?” groups who donated their time to sew cloth bags in support of our Code RED campaign! We appreciate their help in packing feminine hygiene supplies for our Code Red project and helping pack student snack bags, laundry pods and dryer sheets for our students in our Baggin’ Baggies project.

Again, thank you to all of our YOTO volunteers!!!
