Luisa Daniel shared with us how the $2,000 Noah Warren Cohen Scholarship helped her this past semester. “My first semester was amazing…I got all As and one B and I was pretty proud of myself.

“Because of this scholarship, I could focus on school rather than on how I was going to pay for school. I want to thank you guys for giving me the opportunity to not worry about the adult stuff yet. I was able to be free, to do fun things and explore my surroundings. The semester came to a great end and I am ready for 2nd semester.”

Luisa is one of two Youth On Their Own students awarded a Noah Warren Cohen Scholarship. The memorial scholarship fund was established by the Cohen family to honor Noah, who passed away in 2010 at the age of 12.
