This past weekend, the Pima Community College Center for the Arts at West Campus invited Youth On Their Own to watch their performance of the production Polaroid Stories, a tale of young people living on the street, told through a blend of classical mythology and gritty real-life stories.
After the show, Armando, a YOTO Student Ambassador and YOTO alumnus, had the opportunity to share a little about his story and how YOTO helped him.
Dina, the stage manager, and Armando did a wonderful job and we are really looking forward to starting a partnership with Pima Community College! Now that they are aware of what YOTO is all about, Pima’s West Campus would like to support our cause by allowing us to come and speak at their shows when possible. We are excited for the new connection!
Polaroid Stories plays at Pima Community College’s Center for the Arts (West Campus) Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:00pm through April 28th. You can find a full review of the production here!
