We recently said goodbye to David Martin, Director of Programs, who has left YOTO to pursue other opportunities. David has been a strong advocate for students and for his staff. We appreciate his dedication to YOTO and wish him well in his new endeavors.

Please join us in congratulating Daniela Zasa, Sr. Program Coordinator, who has been promoted to Program Manager. Daniela has truly shown her passion and commitment to the YOTO mission and is involved in a number of homeless youth committees. Additionally, she is currently working on her Master’s degree in nonprofit management. She is always striving to improve programs and better serve students.

We are welcomed a new Program Coordinator, Matthew Schmidgall. Matt is from Prescott, Arizona and moved to Tucson after completing his Master’s in Global Development and Technology from Arizona State University. Matt previously worked with youth as a case manager at a behavioral health clinic in Prescott. He also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines, creating ESL curriculum and implementing youth advocacy programs. We are excited for the passion, knowledge, and energy that Matt brings to the team!
